We prefer you call for an appointment. Most of our doctors will be able to see you on a same day basis. We can control our schedules more easily if we know you are coming. In this way, we can reduce your waiting time.
Walk-ins are a necessary part of any pediatric practice. Feel free to arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. without an appointment if your child has been sick overnight. Even in these situations, because of the volume of calls/visits in the morning, it is sometimes best to call and obtain an appointment time. Also, keep in mind your doctor may be rounding at one of the hospitals in the morning and we want you to see your doctor whenever possible.
When scheduling an appointment, let the scheduler know of any special problems that you would like to address during the appointment. Developmental problems, school issues, and behavioral problems require more time than a routine physical exam. |
