Have you received the H1N1 vaccine?
As of 10-09-09, we have received H1N1 "FluMist" at all offices. Remember, the mist can be given to children two years and up if they have no history of asthma. Also, if they received the seasonal flu vaccine in the mist form, they must wait 30 days before they can receive the H1N1 mist. I like all the doctors at Pediatric Consultants - can I just see the first available doctor?
No, research shows that your child will receive better care if one doctor provides most of your care. We aim to provide continuity of care for your child by scheduling the appointment with a particular doctor for the majority of your visits. In doing so, we recognize the emotional benefit for you, the patient, and the staff as well. If your doctor is not available for any reason, then of course, you may see one of the other doctors. |

Can I see Dr. Frizzell for my check-ups & go to the other office for acute problems?
We would rather you not. Again, we believe it is important for your child to have the benefits of continuity of care. It is important to see your pediatrician for all types of care, sick or well. With continuity of care, you’ll be assured a visit that will encompass all aspects of your child’s care. You’ll not need to make an additional appointment for matters related to your healthy child. |

How is the parking at Le Bonheur?
Parking is now simple at Le Bonheur! Just take a ticket when you pull in. On you're way out, just pull forward and the gate will open automatically. |

With which insurance plans do the doctors participate?
We accept Blue Care and TennCare Select. We no longer can accept Tricare Prime; however, we do still accept Tricare Standard. We accept the vast majority of commercial insurance plans. If you have the BHSG Aetna that is part of their special health alliance, you must see a Baptist physician. We are not a part of that alliance as we are a part of the regular Aetna plan.
Because of the large number of carriers we cannot always tell your network by just the name of your insurance plan, it is always best to call your insurance to verify that our doctors are in your network. |

Our doctors are affiliated with Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center, Methodist Germantown Hospital, Methodist University Hospital, Baptist Women’s Hospital, and Baptist East Memorial Hospital. |
