A pleasant first visit to the pediatrician is crucial to put your child at ease during future visits. During your first appointment, our doctors will check on the overall well-being of your child. We will explain everything in detail and answer any questions you might have. Before choosing a pediatrician, we recommend you call and verify that the doctor is accepting new patients. It’s also recommended to call your insurance company to verify that the physician is in your network.

Newborns:

After you’re discharged from the hospital, call our office to make a two-week appointment with the pediatrician you have chosen. Your baby’s first appointment is dependent on a few things. If you are a first-time mother and/or you are breastfeeding, your doctor may recommend a visit within the first couple of days after you’re released from the hospital. Upon hospital discharge, you and your doctor can decide when to schedule your child’s first office visit.
